1. How to stay motivated to exercise regularly:

Plan on ways to get past obstacles before they happen. If you find you're skipping exercise because of family responsibilities, plan a family walk or outing to get them involved too.

Try to workout in the morning. You'll have more energy throughout the day and you won't have the excuse of skipping it because you're tired or have to work late.

Workout with a friend. When a friend is waiting for you, you're less likely to back out!

Make a list of goals and put them on the refrigerator. When you think about skipping your exercise routine, go back and read your list. Remember why you're doing this!

Keep track of your progress. When you reach a goal, that will motivate you to keep going!

Wake up each day and ask yourself how you'll make your day healthy. Plan your workouts the night before and be prepared with a workout bag ready to go so there are no excuses!

Reward yourself! It's important to pat yourself on the back for reaching your goals. Get yourself a massage, a new pair of workout shoes or a night on the town every so often.



2. Ten Rules for a Healthy Lifestyle.


1. Be Clean. Practice good personal hygiene and wear clean clothing and uniforms.


2. Eat Healthy. Eat Plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables every day and limit red meat and fatty foods.


3. Drink Water. Drink at least eight glasses of water daily. Limit soda and caffeine drinks.


4. Rest. Get plenty of rest and sleep. Children need about eight or ten hours of sleep each night. Adults need about eight hours of sleep each night.


5. Exercise. Establish a regular cardiovascular exercise program at least three times per week (i.e. walking, running, swimming, cycling, aerobics, etc.)


6. Avoid alcohol and tobacco use.


7. Make time for yourself. Try to set aside at least 30 minutes daily for personal time. Treat yourself to a relaxing hot bath. Walk in the fresh air, sit quietly and read, or listen to soft music. This helps relieve stress after a long day.


8. Get regular check ups at the doctor and dentist.


9. Practice safety in all that you do. Drive defensively, wear seatbelts and safety equipment for work or play. Pay attention.


10. Your body has healing power. Follow the ten rules for a healthy lifestyle and keep positive thoughts.


3. A few thing you should do to help the environment.

Lighting, cooling and energy consumption is a very important aspect of our daily lives.

The first thing you could do is to install energy saving light bulbs in your home.

Another thing you can do to save electricity is... OPEN A WINDOW! Let some of that free sunlight light up your home!


Appliances

Turn off that computer when you're not using it! money and the environment.

Disconnect appliances when you're not using them, although you may like to think that the display on your DVD player on standby isn't consuming much... it adds up!

Keep the fridge and freezer doors open for as little as possible, alot of energy goes into cooling the interior.
