Az angolban mikor van sima múlt, és mikor van a have/has been-es múlt?

Az összes eddigi válasz hibás.

Ha meg van adva az idő, akkor FOLYAMATOS múlt kell: I was reading a book at 9 pm. (Olvastam egy könyvet este 9-kor).

Az egyszerű múlt akkor kell, ha nem fontos a múltbéli cselekvés ideje, sem kihatása a jelenre. Pl. I slept for 9 hours yesterday (9 órát aludtam, de nincs odaírva, hogy most nem vagyok fáradt stb.).

Present perfect akkor kell, ha a múltbéli cselekvésnek fontos kihatása van a jelenre: I have eaten a lot. (Sokat ettem > most nem vagyok éhes).
