The materials at the Joy of Satan are, by and large, plagiarized without reference from various authors. One only has to read the original source material on this website to see that the material that was stolen from other authors has nothing to do with Satanism. This website is aimed at youths and inexperienced people who are curious about Satanism, but want someone to guide them through each and every step.

Unfortunately, it doesn't take long to realize that their website is actually a recruitment site for the National Socialist Movement, under the guise of Satanism. The site owner, Andrea Herrington, is married to the former leader of the NSM, Clifford Herrington. He was ousted from the NSM when they discovered that he was dating a Satanist, and created his own faction, through which the Joy of Satan recruits youth and takes donations.

Besides being an outlet for Neo-Nazi propaganda, the site also serves as a filter of sorts. People who are of low intelligence, easily influenced, or weak-minded find their way to Joy of Satan. So in a way the Joy of Satan site serves as a filter against those who actually want to do their own research and come to their own conclusions. And, Satanism serves as a perfect outlet for recruiting disaffected youth into the NSM.

In addition to this, their teachings that Satan-is-Enki are based on the writings of the conspiracy theorist Zechariah Sitchin. For a website that has an anti-Jewish agenda, using the works of Sitchin seems ironic, because Zechariah Sitchin is Jewish.
